Recorder Day

A fun day of playing for young recorder players from Grade 3 upwards aged 8-25 with one of our NYRO tutors. Players who are not quite ready to join in a full NYRO day or have not reached the minimum grade standard are welcome to join us for the afternoon session.

A fun day of playing for young recorder players from Grade 3 upwards aged 8-25 with one of our NYRO tutors. Players who are not quite ready to join in a full NYRO day or have not reached the minimum grade standard are welcome to join us for the afternoon session.

The day is aimed at recorder players aged 8 to 25, with a playing standard from Grade 3 up to Diploma level. Applications from recorder teachers are also welcomed. Players who have not reached the required standard or are not ready for a full day's playing can attend the afternoon session only at a cost of £20.

There will be massed playing sessions, group work (according to playing standard) and tips on technique.

Come and be inspired by our tutors, make new friends (or meet up with old friends) and have fun!

Cost: £40 for the full day (£20 for the afternoon only).
