21st Birthday Summer Course

Our 6-night residential course from 23rd-29th July 2023 at Uppingham School is open to players aged 10-25 with a playing standard of Grade 5 up to Diploma. There are no formal auditions for the course but if you are new to NYRO, we will ask you to attend a short, online "Getting to Know You" session before the course.

At our Summer Course, players are allocated to various ensembles. The training ensemble, NYTRO, is intended for players of a good Grade 5 standard and above. NYRO is intended for players of a minimum Grade 8 standard. BlockWork is a one-to-a-part ensemble and membership will be offered to a group of players of the highest standard as decided by the tutors.

A deposit of £75 will be required in order to secure a place. This can only be refunded if we cancel the course and will be deducted from the full course fee of £597. There is a facility to pay the balance in three instalments providing your application is received by 1st May 2023.
