Welcome
Young, talented and keen recorder players now have their own National Youth Recorder Orchestras. They can meet and make friends each year on our Summer residential courses with top professional tutors and conductors, ending with acclaimed public concerts and CD recordings. We also run a 5-day residential course at Easter.
In between residential courses, we hold Taster Days around the country. Young players can try or renew the experience of playing in ensembles with professional guidance. Recorder teachers are welcome too.

As well as the recorders you are used to playing, you can try out larger instruments – bass, great bass and contrabass recorders are available during our courses.
